How to increase your productivity, in practice?
Increasing your productivity and achieving your goals and objectives more quickly, reducing distractions and elevating your focus requires a strategy of thoughts (mindset), practical and behavioral attitudes to improve and raise your level of high performance (production and delivery) and, consequently, get better results.
In practice, how would you rate your productivity at work today? Consider the distractions inherent in your current reality (eg. home office, pandemic, etc.) and within a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being very unproductive and 10 being super productive, which score would you assign to yourself today? Doing this self-reflection exercise in your current reality and with the lowest possible judgment, even if the grade given is far from ideal, provides you with a real mapping of your life and career moment.
It is worth remembering that if you want to – really – increase your productivity levels, you need to be willing to experiment, practice, and validate the effectiveness of methodologies and tools in coaching, within your own reality.
